Take One Productions was the first in Central Pennsylvania to shoot and edit in High Definition. Approaching the resolution of film, digital cinematography allows for acquisition at 24 frames per second, the standard for film. Properly set and lit, 24p can bring the look of 35mm at the cost of 16mm with the advantages of video in that there is no transfer and full color playback is available in the field. In fact, acquisition can be simultaneously captured to hard drive for a rough cut on location. Since its inception in 2002, countless sitcoms, features, commercials and corporate videos have been acquired using 24p technology. And since 2002, Take One has produced more using this format than any other production company in Central Pennsylvania.
